Meet Our Musical Director - Katheen Hansen Kathleen has a Bachelor's degree in Music Education specializing in Trumpet, a teaching credential in music, and a Master's of Music in Instrumental Conducting from San Diego State University. She currently teaches high school instrumental and vocal music in Chula Vista, where her bands have won numerous awards. She has also taught Varsity band and beginning conducting at SDSU. She is also an Associate Director of the San Diego Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International. Her teaching skills are apparent as she uses her training to teach the Chorus, and is achieving great success |

Meet Our President - Craig Hughes Craig has performed for Ed Sullivan, Mike Douglas, President Nixon, and with Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Ray Bolger, Raquel Welch, Roger Williams, and the Fifth Dimension. There were 50 other members of the West Point Glee Club on stage with him but he swears he was there. After a 30 year break, Craig returned to performing with the Chorus and Society in 2003. He quickly went to work as VP Chapter Development and Marketing. The chorus has selected him “Rookie of the Year” for 2003, most improved for 2004, San Diego Performing Arts League 2005 “Star Award” winner, Joe White scholarship recipient for 2005, and “Barbershopper of the Year” for 2005. |

Meet Our Vice President of Music & Marketing Kent is new to Barbershopping, but is an experienced singer who quickly stepped up to the plate, offering his music and marketing talents to the Chapter. |
